As many people will have noticed, Amiga have a new page up, explaining the virtues of the new DE. But just look at the list of games being ported! How the heck did they manage all that?

Vidar Langberget has posted an interesting interview with Amiga's Fleecy Moss on his homepage here. [ Note that the page requires a browser that supports CSS - ie. none of the Amiga ones will display it properly. There should be a non-CSS version here, but it wasn't found when I tried to access it. - TY ]

From Amiga-news.de: Exodus CDs are now being pressed. Apart from polish, the game will also support english, german and french languages. Czech language update will be available for download later.
The developers are also working on a new project called Husaria. For this game they need photos of castles, commercial buildings (shots of buildings preferred to be from above), weapons and armors from the 16th and 17th centuries, and maps from the same period. Sony wants to turn the Playstation2 into a hub connecting various digital household appliances. Interestingly, this CNet article speculates that "to do that, it may need to join with software makers or device manufacturers to develop the home network operating system and compatible hardware." A Sony representative also confirms that this may be the case.

This nice-looking real-time strategy game by the Polish developers Zloty Skarabeusz is nearing completion and will be published shortly by another Polish company, Sland Media. There's also a 14MB-demo available for download, in three parts: part 1, part 2, part 3.

Merregnon soundtrack is a new concept album that tells a fantasy story through 74 minutes of orchestral music. Contributing composers include some names that should be familiar to a lot of music-loving Amigans - Jogeir Liljedahl, Chris Huelsbeck, Gustaf "Lizardking" Grefberg and Allister Brimble amongst others. The CD is available now.
