[Motd] ANN v2 pre-release 10 | ANN.lu |
Posted on 05-Mar-2000 09:18 GMT by Christian Kemp | 6 comments View flat View list |
The behaviour of at least one individual has forced me to implement
a new feature in pre-release 10; or rather disable an existing
feature. It is now no longer possible to use HTML tags in comments,
since this individual repeatedly abused this, and I can't tolerate
that.

[Motd] ANN v2 pre-release 9 | ANN.lu |
Posted on 04-Mar-2000 20:19 GMT by Christian Kemp | 0 comments |
In pre-release 9, I did some minor cosmetic changes to the Remarq advertisement, changed the size of the "tell a friend" forms and implemented code that displays links to news 10-20 and their respective comments at the bottom of the main page. This is pretty much work-in-progress though, so expect things to change and/or expand. There are still many things I'd like to implement in ANN v2, and there's so little time. :(

Remco Komduur writes:
On this site you can find free games from Digital Illusions. It seems that a lot more games companies are willing to release old Amiga games for free.
I still remember Pinball Dreams and Pinball Fantasies. They were great games and if I get the time I´ll have to see how well WinUAE handles them.

RBY writes that Warp9 will soon be 3 years old and that wARPgATe has finished its first year. For that reason, they are starting a counter competition. We have installed a counter on our special birthday page. Find this page and be the 3000th vistor. Everyone who sends us a screenshot with the lucky number 3000 will take part at the final competition. There you have the chance to win a brand-new 20 GB harddisk by Quantum. We will pick the winner from all e-mails with the screenshot of the 3000 number.
