fleecy writes: Just to let you all know. I am in Seattle at the moment for a third round of training with our new development team. 4 weeks ago, 4 of the Amiga team were trained. Last week 3 more were trained, along with 2 guys from an Amiga company that is a strategic partner. This week, 5 more of the development team is being trained. In 3 weeks time, the final training will occur with our last member, and 3 or 4 ppl from at least 2 Amiga companies that are also strategic partners. The entire team will be introduced once the training is finished, and the strategic partners will be announced. Things are happening.

Sjur Mathisen writes: Sunsteam is a new searchengine which needs help to fill it's tiny database. It is run by 2 guys doing it for fun and self-education. The 50% of sunsteam typing this is a sworn amigan, and therefore want to do a special Amiga-section on the site. We also will be using "the Amiga way of thinking" running it. That means easy usage, professional results, and last but not least, listening to and thinking of our users. That's where you come in. I'd like you to add your Amiga urls or other urls, and help us add new categories and sub-sub-sub-categories if necessary.

Report+ is a freeware GadTools-based forms utility with three distinct functions: 1. It is an enhanced, reverse-engineered, 100% byte-compatible replacement for the official Commodore bug reporting tool (40.2). 2. It can generate Aminet-style readmes. 3. Perhaps unrelated to the Amiga, but interesting to read. Mike writes: This story on ZDNet let's us know just how many bugs remain in next Thursday's Windows 2000 release, and presents us with the poll question; "Do you plan to buy Windows 2000 -- an OS with 63,000 known 'defects'?"
[News] Is "AOL TV" Gateway's "Amiga"?ANN.lu

Manou BILLA informed me that this article on AmigaNation News quotes a CNET story about "AOL TV". James Russel seems to think that this is what became of the Amiga operating environment developed under Gateway, later folded into Gateway. The article has absolutely no mention of Gateway, so I am not sure if there is any connection. Any comments?
