In a previous thread about the coupon, Ray Akey from Amiga Inc. for the first time informs us, that there are lots of problems at AI. Also, from what *I* understand from his comments, the money for the t-shirts and discounts has already been spent. If I misunderstood this part, please put a clarification. Also I expect answers to 8 SIMPLE and pressing questions to Amiga Inc. in this thread. Please keep MOS/AOS flamewars off this thread, it is about getting clearance in the situation. Quote:
Fact is, if you were in our shoes, you'd have gone out of business long ago. The fact that we are still alive, still working and could do so for MUCH longer (if needed), is testament to Amiga's longevity and ability to stay alive even through rough times. This is something that none of the owners since the demise of Commodore can say.

Quote:
Nate, I did not say "financial" trouble. Don't put words in my mouth.

Quote:
I guess I just chose the wrong words. I didn't mean going out of business as a whole and as a company. I meant giving up because of mounting pressure. Many would have gone under long ago. But we can take it..we are a strong bunch.

Quote:
If I wasn't getting paid, I wouldn't be working.

Quote:
Which do you think is more of a priority, paying lawyers to assure that you remain in business or printing t-shirts?

Personal oppinion: the money was already spent. I can't think of this quote otherwise.

Now Amiga, please answer these questions:
1. What is your new address and phone numbers/do you still have offices?
2. If you have one, why is it not available on your homepage?
3. What is the problem with delivering a bunch of t-shirts?
4. Did you already spend the 50$ coupon money?
5. What is the financial situation at Amiga Inc.? Figures!
6. Do you think you can ever deliver a working product?
7. Why do you think "your" community should believe you any more?
8. How do you feel about selling the AMIGA brand to Genesi?

First off, let's say personal opinion is unique to each. For each one of your personal opinions I can give 10 of the opposite opinion. :)

That said:

Now Amiga, please answer these questions:
1. What is your new address and phone numbers/do you still have offices?

I have new information to be going up in the next week. The old information was slightly incorrect so it was removed in lieu of new information, which I am awaiting.

2. If you have one, why is it not available on your homepage?

See above.

3. What is the problem with delivering a bunch of t-shirts?

If you are a Club Amiga MEmber then you know. If not, you didn't pay for them so, respectfully, it's not your business.

4. Did you already spend the 50$ coupon money?

Coupon money? What is coupon money? I know here in Canada where I live, we have Canadian Tire "coupon money".. Unless you meant the Club Amiga Membership funds, which were used to pay for their resources.

5. What is the financial situation at Amiga Inc.? Figures!

Are you an Amiga investor? If not, that's just a bit outside your right to know. :)

6. Do you think you can ever deliver a working product?

We have, many of them and more to follow.

7. Why do you think "your" community should believe you any more?

Our "community" should do what is in their personal best interest. All I can tell you is that, from my pont of view (which I know you cannot see), things are looking ever brighter. :)

8. How do you feel about selling the AMIGA brand to Genesi?

Son, put down the crack pipe. LOL
