Reading the recent news about the auction and stuff I wonder what the new address of Amiga Inc and the new phone numbers are? Seeing that they were locked out of their office and "Amiga Inc is sold" (according to auction site) now, was there ever a new office and new phone numbers? Is there a reason to hide this information? Or were they just unreachable in consequence of the lockout. Seeing that a Nortel phone router is also auctioned, this seems more likely.

Nothing new here.. Last winter all this info was (by well known group leaders and followers) discredited as being FUD, but it was all there to people see.

Nah, at that time first their phones got hacked and then the whole staff went on vacation for some weeks (because they really needed it -> 24/7 shifts and so on IIRC (of course)).

If I think that at that time I used to defend and apologize them, even misguided by a certain guy who, supposedly, had "insider" informations... oh dear, what a shame. Too sad that this guy still defends them, and he's still fooled by the Amiga Inc's crowd. The guy shall remain nameless, but you know whom am I talking about... just think about it more :)

They are presumably all working from home, which is what they should have done in the first place until the business was bringing in enough money to justify big offices with football tables. However, it is easy to criticize in hindsight, and I don't think they really did any worse than most dot com companies. For example, the office is not in a city centre, where the rent would have been much higher.

fleecy has certainly been working from home since he returned to the UK. It's the sensible thing to do if you run a software business nowadays.

How many people are still involved full time is hard to say. I suspect both Hyperion and Eyetech are larger businesses than Amiga Inc.

On the one hand, "obviously," but on the other hand, it's just a PBX- given the presumable "bolted to the wall" aspect, and the fact that lots of office space is leased with phone solutions already in place, I'd say *that* item is part of the cost paid for being the first tenant in a space more than anything else.

If anything's surprising, it's how none of this really says anything we didn't already know / couldn't already guess at. They *could* be working from home; they *could* have 'shiny' new top-secret digs; they *could* be practically bust or acquired.

Someone wake me up when a real news item comes along. ;)

I think EVERYONE has missed the big point. Amiga tried to get an investment of 10-12 million a while back.

The big offices, the 21" monitors, loads of computers and all the rest of the scam were all a PART OF THE CON.

Your "mark" has to believe that you have an ongoing company with "promise", if the mark doesn't believe the story they aren't coming across with the money.

See the movies "The Sting" (especially the fake bookie front) and "The House of Cards". The $50K t-shirt scam was just as billyboy put it at Amiwest 2002 "rent money"!

I can see billyboy taking the tour with his potential investors, 21" monitors with a program reading hexcode from jpg files (for all the investors knew).

BB - yeah this is our worldwide cisco router/server that connects Amiga with over 3,000 developers all over the world. New code coming in on a daily basis - yep - we're really big time.

Here's our contracts with major European cell phone companies, here's our contract with MIckeysoft - we're a "content provider" to Mickeysoft. Yep - real big time stuff happening.

And here's our contract with Sharp - more content providing -

And a yell from a cubicle as billyboy passes by with investors -

Hey bill - we've got problems with the kernal in the liniing of the dynamic libraries and.....

BB - Not now Vladimir - we'll take that up at our next 3,000 developer on line conference - got to show these gentlemen our "content provider" stuff....

Big monitors, lots of show, and billyboy actually believing all his "contracts" were going to generate money.

This is what the "office" and equipment was all about - just a small scale Enron trying to keep the "dream" going....(or scam as you might prefer).

---------------
Amiga, Inc
Bill McEwen
PO Box 887
Ravensdale, WA 98051

The "public" phone numbers are easy enough.

many Companies use PO box's. The mere fact of it saves a ton of time and missed mail when they move makes it logical.

well I'll just use this as an example... I worked for an industrial supply company... And the only public address they had for 25 years was a PO box. Considering they did 1.5-2 mil a year in sales I don't see how a PO box is a problem.

Ok. But why has AInc not stepped forward yet? A photo from the building they are in now, happy employees, receiving their salaries, in cubicles, etc. Why no phone number? Why is no valid address on AInc's homepage? Are they afraid of outraged 50$ coupon customers? What is the problem with that, if they moved, are not bankrupt and a serious company? I really don't get it, sorry!

I wasn't defending anyone personally... I just don't see a problem with basing on a PO box... I have no clue what they or gensei do behind the scene's. Yanno what tho... I don't care... It's thier company I'm sure they've screwed up and will screw up again.. but hell as long as I get what I want out of them. I don't care if they're working out of cardboard boxes, with 2 tin cans and a string for phones..

They dont have a new building, though that was story 3 they told after they had been locked out. In actuality, they got locked out and are "working" from home. The interesting thing is to see how what they are going to put down as a corporate address this year, by law they cant use a PO Box, last year despite being locked out they used the site of tomorrows auction as their corporate address, this year IF they renew their paperwork, they wont be allowed to list that as an address.

Its been pointed out several times that this is not the case in Washington, unless they are moving, its an issue, unless someone else has a different read on the law. How do you know for a fact that you can use one in NY??? I havent ever formed a corporation in NY, but those states I have been involved in the process, we always had to use either one of our residences or our lawyers office on our corporation paperwork. Even delaware makes you do more then get a post office box in their state to incorporate there and there tax structure etc made them at one time the best place to "headquarter" a company in the US.

Tho I will admit it has been some years since I did that... and as I stated before I don't know ... and frankly care about other states... As many people hate to admit about themselves.. I only care about if I get what I want out of them... If they go bust once I get that ... Oh well not like I can't go another 10 years with no real support. haha

Very true. In my signature I have my PO Box also. Along with my phone number I can be reached at.

However, billyboy/Amiga were evicted, and billyboy sent in the corporate paperwork last year and left the Snoqualmie address as the "contact" and corporate address in the State of Washington documentation.

I have the actual and official Master License Service Registrations and License from the State of Washington.

Unified Business ID # is 601 983 734

This is on the offical State issued documentation.

I purchased over 4 pallets of items at the Amiga auction - matter of fact I got back several hours ago. I have legal title to the items from the auction company and also legal title to items left behind in their offices from their landlord - Tom from the Inception Group.

Most likely will be posting TONS of pictures, details, items and what have you.
Some will be public and some to the password protected Thenic-Amiga directory.

All are PUBLIC INFORMATION - maybe even a copy of billyboys marriage certificate from his second wife - along with pictures of his house (taken yesterday) and peake's house (He's doing very nicely - thank you very much.). (Taken today and verified by a "field interview" with an untold neighbor.

Sometime later on this week.

As far as contact info with the Amiga boyz

Bill McEwen (AKA William Wallace McEwen)

25015 255Th PL SE - OLD house (very nice) with 1st wife.
Might be posting King's county real estate links or post copies thereof along with house photographs.

24403 256th Ave SE Ravensdale (MAILING ADRESS) - so far out in the sticks that anyone else couldn't find him. Even took me a while that's how "hidden" he is.

Phone number easily obtained

Bolton Peck Judgement Info
$ 48,865.08 Judgement against Amiga
$ 26,054.77 Judgement against McEwen

Might also post my 2 "encounters" of the close kind with Peck. I give him credit for taking care of "business" with Amga and/or assigns and MIGHT relay the content and context of my "encounters with him" - including him knocking on my hotel door after I tried to make arrangements to give him back his "alledged" personal property after 2 phone calls.

Gary Peake
2543 155th Ave SE , Bellevue, WA 98007
425-378-2524

Very nice neighborhood, wonder how he could afford such a house on his wife's (teacher's) salary - along with paying for the 2 cars in the driveway.

Is he possibly getting a paycheck or "monies" from Amiga? A most interesting speculative question!

I'll leave out Gordon and Matt Fontenot (sp?).

Matt has a judgement against Amiga/Billyboy for approx $14K+

Airborne Express also has a judgement

billyboy is appox 1 year behind his mortgage payments - links to be posted soon
of PUBLIC info on file. His property is in foreclosure or soon to be - I have over 2 inches of documentations. Phew!

Info, pictures to be published later on this week.

Watch the thearts of my publishing PUBLIC info to come FAST and FURIOUS!

Ssuch a SAD situation in the dot com era!
