Ben Yoris writes: Warp 3D V3 is out thanks to Thomas Frieden and others from Hyperion Software. The changes are mostly internal, new functions in the API, and support for a new feature of the Permedia 2 (Chroma keying). For the user, the archive offers the possibility to use MiniGL compiled programs, like the upcoming GLQuake. There's also a small MiniGL-compiled demo in the archive, to give you an idea of what's to come. This can be found on ftp.haage-partner.com/3DWorld/Warp3D.

Permedia2 is way faster than Voodoo1 - about the same speed as
Voodoo2 (a bit lower fillrate, but a lot better in terms of OpenGL).
And GLQuake on a Permedia2 runs very smooth in 640x480 (or was it
800x600 - can't remember..)
