In a posting on Moo Bunny, Len Carsner reports that the
was at the UGN meeting in McEwens suite, where several rumours were verified or disproved.
Among other things, Jim Collas has nothing to do with AI and doesn't have one dime invested in it,
Anti-Gravity bought BoXer lock, stock and barrel...

UGN meeting at Amiga2k : Comment 1 of 4 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Jofre Furtado on 03-Apr-2000 22:00 GMT | The Boxer?
Oh, great, now we're moving ass backwards.
Isn't the Boxer an enhanced "old" Amiga board?
This better not be the future of Amiga because I'll buy an
x86 machine and run AmigaTao on it instead.
Why should we pay an arm and a leg for something left behind in the times?
Not to mention that the damn PPC accelerator cards are more than a grand apiece
(even though they are about half the cost for the MAC).
This is just so bullshit. The Boxer never existed and I'm not trusting THEM
with any of MY money. They take money and run every single time.
I think the Boxer is the biggest mistake to the company right now. Forget the backward boxes for classic Amigas- JUST GIVE US AN EMULATOR FOR THE NEW OS! How hard could that be???!!! They just want us to just give up all of our software or buy an old, overpriced machine. I'm sorry, but we've already had a Commodore season. |
