-1- Jim Collas has nothing to do with AI and doesn't have one dime invested in it. He
-has his own thing going on with Rick LeFever(?) among others. He had the chance and
-declined.
This rummor has been declined so many times why bring it up?
-2- Anti-Gravity bought BoXer lock, stock and barrel. AI wants this as a transitional
-machine and is willing to "help" if they can. Expect to see it released sooner rather
-than later.
Who cares? if the prices on anti-gravitys web site are true it won't sell
-3- Fleecy and Bill, while sometimes diametrically opposed on some topics, are great
-friends and are not constantly "butting heads", although they don't always agree on
-everything.
who cares they could hate each other for all I care.
Just produce a new amiga!
-4- While the banquet had a lot of "rah-rah" factor to it, the private meeting was quite
-the opposite. And while it was still very uplifting you left with the impression that
-Bill is very sincere and knows that he is under a lot of pressure and scrutiny by the
-Amiga faithful. And he knows there is a big uphill battle ahead.
This is welcome news. As for the show news being uplifting well lets say fool me once
shame on you fool me twice (or is it the 3rd,4th time) shame on me.
-I left with a lot better outlook than I thought I would. Yes I still have my doubts,
-but they have done some remarkable things in the last 90 days. Let's see what happens
-over the next 90 days, evaluate, and see where we are then and what we want over the
-next 90day period.
Same way I felt after AMIGA 99 last year,.and here it is again 1 year later and we are
still waiting.
If they would stop the name dropping down, it would help with the feeling of doom. I get
each time I check out the company they mention web page and do a search for any mention
of amiga and maybe finding one or two saying Gateway has just bought the rights to
Amiga.
This is not how a company builds trust. :(
So if BILL, fleecy, Gary read this, If you make a claim be sure you are able to back it
up.
