The Hyperion Software page has the announcement
that they will be porting Raven Software's mercenary first-person shooter to the Amiga and Mac platforms, both
ports expected by the end of this year.

In Heretic 2 (or the demo), shrink the screen-size down to as small as you can get it. (Resolution is more or less irrelevant with this test).
Note how many frames you get. This is the framerate you will get with a modern graphics card like the Voodoo 3.
On a Cyberstorm PPC/233 Heretic 2 gets around 100-110 fps in geometry but the Permedia 2 is only able to squeeze out a paltry 20 fps in 640x480 due to it's low fillrate.
