Hyperion software will port Soldier of Fortune to Amiga and Mac : Comment 23 of 66 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Hans-Joerg Frieden on 11-Jun-2000 22:00 GMT | In reply to Comment 19 (Chris Roccati): : marginally -- if I had an amiga game company I'd be trying to license
: Starcraft, Diablo, Command & Conquer or similar, and not certainly
: Quake 3 Arena),
You would fail for most of the titles above. Just believe me.
We could go for Diablo, but I never liked that game. Of course, its
unimportant *which* game we licence, there is always someone that wants the
other one. I actually was expecting this post. A few days ago I read "why these
old games, why don't the licence Soldier of Fortune". Now its "SOF is too
demanding", and I see a list of games that starts with one that is actually
older then Heretic II. Age does not say its not quality, of course :)
In the end, its our decision. Like it or not.
Shogo will probably be slower than 10 FPS? Actually no.
Perhaps you should leave the worring about hardware to us. We carry the risk.
A big risk for sure.
Best regards, Hans-Joerg.
