The Hyperion Software page has the announcement
that they will be porting Raven Software's mercenary first-person shooter to the Amiga and Mac platforms, both
ports expected by the end of this year.

"* Transfer rates between PCI cards up to 132 MB/s" in practice this only happens
when two pci cards talk to each other -- more or less never. "T* ransfer rates between
A1200 motherboard and PCI cards up to two times faster than between A4000 and ZORRO
III cards" even more meaningless, being this speed anything between 4 MB/sec to around
10 MB/sec. This means that even in the best possible situation we are far more close to
a Voodoo 1 than to a Voodoo 3... |
