Hyperion software will port Soldier of Fortune to Amiga and Mac : Comment 46 of 66 | ANN.lu |
Posted by redrumloa on 12-Jun-2000 22:00 GMT | In reply to Comment 45 (Chris Roccati): This is my last reply on this subject, it is getting too long.
-Who started writting "Then buy a freakin PC!!", "constant negative jaw yapping",
-"I can't put you on my kill list. Go home."?
No trolling there, specific response comments like to:
-I simply don't understand why these people keep following the stupid idea
Amiga users with PPC cards are stupid? Hyperion is stupid? What else could have possibly meant? That is what a troll does, stirs things up for personal pleasure.
- we already have quake running at 10 fps.
10fps?!? Oh yeah, 10fps on your 040. No one else in the Amiga community plays Quake @ 10fps.
- We will have shogo (probably slower).
Another bizzare attack on Hyperion. I doubt they would be allowed to release it if it was slower than ~20 fps in a decent screenmode.
- Do we actually NEED to see how pathetically slow will be soldier of fortune?
Hyperion is not a 1 man show, they are a class act. They will be providing the Warp3d drivers for PCI based GFX cards that THEY confirmed right here is not Vapor! With Hyperion management telling you directly what PCI GFX cards *WILL* be available and they *WILL* write the Warp3d drivers for it, you still keep the negativity and bashing.
Last comment from me. If you really, really hate the state of the Amiga and have zero faith in new developments... Then by all means sink your computing dollars only into that Windows box. Sell that A4000 to someone who will put it to good use. If you just happen to be in a bad mood today, go out and have a beer. That usually brings me up:-) |
