Iomega have added the Amiga to their support options. Although we sometimes
scorn Imomega for not having much (any?) Amiga support, if you go to
http://www.iomega.com/support/nav_keyword.html
you will see that the Amiga is now a supported OS.

Iomega Give Amiga Support Option : Comment 2 of 8 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Ralph on 11-Jun-2000 22:00 GMT | This short instruction is on their website for serveral months, if not years now.
The only difference is, that it is now "official" while it was hidden before (i found
it because the exact URL was posted somewhere that time).
I also mailed the support mentioning e.g. the "diskchange" command but the only thing
i got was a rather senseless autoreply.
But in general it is fascinating to see a "big player" officially admitting that Amiga
is known as an existing OS. This could well be a little hint for the image-shift that
Bill McEwen has reached already in the (computer) public for "AMIGA" :-) |
