Gaming on the Amiga, an Interview with Bill McEwen : Comment 18 of 23 | ANN.lu |

I like what they are going to do. I also don't believe in full open sourcing. It does more harm then good. They may also do this with OS 3.5. It will make development a lot faster.
The Amiga One sounds like something for me. I would like to have a modern Amiga and not constantly upgrading my Amiga 1200. It costs too much money and the gain will never be maximum.
After owning the fastest BlizzardPPC for just under 3 months it died on me this week. This really pissed me off because allthough I still have a warranty and probably will get my money back I realised they are not available. Ok, I still had one as a reserve but that one is the slowest available BlizzardPPC. In the middle of this card changeing I also lost my Workbench and Games partition. Now, I have a backup of the Workbench partition but it is almost 2 months old and I did a lot of work on my Workbench. I still don't understand it because my slower BlizzardPPC ran for a year before replacing it.
Not a good week for me. I didn't even get to play Heretic 2 on my super BlizzardPPC. It arrived just the day after it had died. Now I have to play it on my other slower BlizzardPPC. I think I will install Workbench and the Games partition in a few days.
I need the Amiga One!!!!! |
