Vision Factory Development are reporting that they've made a Virge-based PCI graphics card successfully work through the Mediator busboard with their CyberGraphX 3 driver (CGX4 driver is in the works). Also a driver for 3Dfx Voodoo3 is being worked on.

Mediator update : Comment 13 of 49 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Anonymous on 26-Aug-2000 22:00 GMT | In reply to Comment 8 (Björn Hagström): Oh yeah right! Of course that's what I think.
Frankly I think they are screwing themselves. Hopefully, they A1200
version sells enough to warrant them making one for big box Amigas.
It's couldn't be that hard to make a PCI backplane for ZIII. It seems
to me it would be a hell of alot harder to make this for an A1200.
I'd wager that there are as many big box Amigas in use as there are
A1200's, and that these big box Amigas overall are much more powerful
machines. |
