Vision Factory Development are reporting that they've made a Virge-based PCI graphics card successfully work through the Mediator busboard with their CyberGraphX 3 driver (CGX4 driver is in the works). Also a driver for 3Dfx Voodoo3 is being worked on.

So in truth although many more people baught A1200's initially, the gap is closing as the market gets smaller. I wouldn't dismiss the idea that its 1:1 in big box to a1200 users now. Anyway it must be bloody difficult designing a PCI buss for an A1200, how much R&D would they need for the A4k? Pft. |
