One of the leading software publishers in the Amiga market, Epic Marketing, is set to close all operations on September 30th. However, the very next day, two new companies will start in its place. Epic Interactive Entertaiment Software will focus on publsihing games for the Mac platform, but AmigaNG and Atari (!) support is also planned. Classic Amiga support will be decided upon the success of Dafel: Bloodline and Simon the Sorcerer 2 on the platform. The other company, Epic Multimedia, will publish game, infotainment and eduntainment titles for a variety of platforms, including AmigaNG. Read the full press release here.
