MeterNet is another set-top-box manufacturer that will use the Amiga DE in their products. They plan to ship the first units of their new Amiga-powered SimpleBox devices in December this year with a forecasted price of $399. The initial run will produce 10000 units of the device. Since they are going to have an internet TV device, as well as home computers, I think it would be a good idea for Amiga to make connections with some of the free ISP services. Porting some of the free ISP software to the Amiga would make a dedicated box or home machine much more attractive, since right now pretty much only Windows and Macs have free ISPs (to my knowledge).
