In a bit of a shock announcement, Microsoft and the supposed Amiga Inc-partner Corel have entered a strategic partnership targetting Microsoft's new .Net platform. Microsoft has also bought $135 million worth of Corel stocks, which seems to be effectively saving Corel from imminent bankruptcy. The partnership will see Corel products ported to the .Net platform.
