Interview with Frank Mariak : Comment 1 of 39ANN.lu

Unfortunately the translation engine was unable to handle the idiom even as well as the Elbox release that this responds to. So it's quite difficult for me to tell from the translation exactly what Mr. Mariak said that he promised. It does seem that the situation argues for written contracts for such things, unfortunately. :{ (Just a note - if you give a document with complex terms to a translation engine, remember to separate hyphenated terms so that it can address them separately!)
He does apparently say that he didn't promise what Elbox is saying that he promised. He does not state why he didn't tell Elbox that he was working with a competitor of theirs. He does not respond to the allegation of sharing of confidential information. He does seem to say that it's possible that others could write drivers. Why are there lawyers? This is a prime example of why.
I can only hope that I will have to choose between an AmiJoe, a Shark, and whatever condenses out of the DCE vapor. Of course, an AmigaOne would also be nice :) More choices can only make a healthier market.
PaulT ........ respond here, it's appropriate!
