Yes, but one could claim the same for many other that have oppressed other nations.
It's just that the WW2/Nazi thing is just too recent and has had a lot more publicity
than others. Other wars, although not that big, have been a lot more violent and some
that are still going on are equally brutal (check out Chechnya for instance
(no flames please) ) but they do not get enough publicity.
Anyhow political correctness is IMHO dictatorship with a "humanitarian/civilized" mask.
