Chris Moore writes:
Eyetech group have released an
article on their web site explaning
the new AmigaOne A1200 and A4000 PPC systems.
The system can actually run without the A1200/A4000 motherboard. The article explains all about the new systems and has a brief
history of the Eyetech Group. The A1200/A4000 motherboards are
an expansion of the AmigaOne, rather than the other way round
and will be able to run MorphOS or OS3.9 as well as AmigaDE
natively.

Eyetech give AmigaOne specification : Comment 16 of 27 | ANN.lu |
Posted by J on 24-Oct-2000 22:00 GMT | In reply to Comment 15 (Ian): I read in a few places (i.e. UK Magazines) that H&P (or was it P5?) had emulation working at 040 speeds using a PowerPC 603e.
I'm pretty sure that with a decent amount of L2 Cache and a G4 processor you'd at least get 060/50 speed emulation. But I have no solid benchmarks.
