Eyetech group have released an
article on their web site explaning
the new AmigaOne A1200 and A4000 PPC systems.
The system can actually run without the A1200/A4000 motherboard. The article explains all about the new systems and has a brief
history of the Eyetech Group. The A1200/A4000 motherboards are
an expansion of the AmigaOne, rather than the other way round
and will be able to run MorphOS or OS3.9 as well as AmigaDE
natively.

Eyetech give AmigaOne specification : Comment 18 of 27 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Steffen Haeuser on 24-Oct-2000 22:00 GMT | Hi!
Well to clear some things up: In the original Eyetech text it says
"runs either the H&P 68k Emulation or MorphOS". And the H&P 68k Emulation
includes WarpUP. So this means the AmigaOne 1200 and AmigaOne 4000 will
obviously run WarpUP (the 68k Emulation of H&P is an expansion of the
WarpUP system, with 68k Emulation and "some stuff" added to WarpUP).
About the speed... it depends of course on the CPU, but on current
Boards 040 speed is reached. On a fast G3 or G4 060 speed should be
reached at least (maybe even faster).
