Eyetech group have released an
article on their web site explaning
the new AmigaOne A1200 and A4000 PPC systems.
The system can actually run without the A1200/A4000 motherboard. The article explains all about the new systems and has a brief
history of the Eyetech Group. The A1200/A4000 motherboards are
an expansion of the AmigaOne, rather than the other way round
and will be able to run MorphOS or OS3.9 as well as AmigaDE
natively.

Eyetech give AmigaOne specification : Comment 20 of 27 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Chris Moore on 24-Oct-2000 22:00 GMT | In reply to Comment 13 (J): Oops, guess I should have read all the comments before posting. That
figure of £550 sounds about right to me, but how come all the G3/G4
Macs are in the +£1000 bracket if this will be (comparatively) cheap?
To be honest I had a few doubts over the last (hectic) weekend about
the boards, what with all the speculation and rumour, but my mind is
at rest now and I'm just looking forward to opening the box and
playing :)
Just think how Heretic 2 will play with a G4 and a next gen graphics
card :) |
