Petro Tyschtschenko retires and Amiga Germany closes down. : Comment 14 of 48 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Matthew Leaman on 01-Nov-2000 23:00 GMT | Its a great shame Petro is retiring as he has served the Amiga
magnificently in recent years.
However, why is Petro "retiring" at such a strange time & why on earth
is Amiga DE closing? I think it could have something to do with his
recent other employment activities. I would also speculate that the
reason why Amiga DE is closing (the fundamental European link) is that
the Amiga "Classic" operations are the sole activity of Amiga DE and
this news and AmigaOS 3.9 news spell the end of the line for the Amiga
"Classic". Maybe Haage & Partner will continue development of the
"Classic" Amiga from now on...?
