Just to add my voice to the chorus: Petro kept things going when everyone else was trying to bury it. In the history of our beloved platform, the corporate Hall of Shame (Tramiel, Gould, Ali, and all their evil minions) is a lot bigger than the Hall of Fame, where Petro T. belongs. Sure, he did some things wrong, but that's true of every executive who ever lived. I wish him every happiness in his retirement.
BTW, I'm also sick and tired of the BoXer excuses. Tinker may be a genius, but he's dragged this thing on for far too long. If the difficulties were insurmountable, he should've said so and moved on. RSN and prototype boards gave the wrong impression to a lot of people; for others, he now has as much credibility as iWin. Personally, I hope he produces something, just so we don't have to hear the excuses anymore.
