Guvenc Kaplan writes: "Hi, as Amigart, we have opened a petition page for AmigaOS4.0 upon an idea on this unmoderated forum. We invite everybody to join and submit his opinion. The description on our page is as follows: 'Haage & Partner (authors of AmigaOS 3.5 and 3.9) is waiting for the approval of Amiga Inc CEO. BillMCEwen to begin coding Amiga OS V4.0 . This new version will probably feature a new kickstart rom and full PowerPC support. If you want an official AmigaOS for PPC please join the petition for Amiga OS 4.0. If i recall correctly, when Bill McEwen first told the world about AmigaOS3.9 in Melbourne, he displayed a screenshot which had AMIGA OS 4.0 in the top of the screen. He told us to ignore that, saying that he believes to have a version 4.0 would be a full PPC native port. So i am guessing if the sales of 3.9 are good, as he mentioned, then we will see a PPC version of Amiga OS...no petition necessary.
