Merlancia write: "We are currently looking for developers who are interested in helping with the AJE [Amiga Java Engine] project. Developers must be willing to share sources with other developers to continue the AJE momentum, and must sign a Confidentiality / Non-Disclosure agreement with Merlancia Industries." Java for AmigaOS? : Comment 11 of 11 | ANN.lu |
Posted by deadpool on 17-Dec-2000 23:00 GMT | I belive it when i see it, not before. I mean look at Haage&Partners Merapi and
Nordicglobals Daytona. The only Java for Amiga that you can get is Kaffe, guavac and jikes.
Which I actually have used, although i cant get it to run again. I would love a real
jvm and jdk on Amiga but it dont seens like we will get it before we get AmigaOne.
Which really is the only reason for me to get one of those.
I like the idea of AROS better than Elate.
If it cant run on an Amiga and cant run Amiga programs then it isnt an AmigaOS. |
