Hynek Schlawack announces a third alpha of SimpleMail and writes: "A new Alpha version including some features you might have missed in YAM like SMTP AUTH or using the own IP as domain to avoid X-Authentification-Warning headers has been released. But although having many features that YAM has not (mail threads as listtrees or showing directly HTML-mails) it's still an alpha version and is intended as a teaser and to make user to tell us their wishes." The homepage says: "SimpleMail is a new mailer for the Amiga classic platform but it is intended to be as portable as possible so there speaks nothing against a MorphOS or even Windows version."

In reply to Comment 8 (m0ns00n):
Why not use Reaction sine it will be available on Amiga DE, and so proting will be easy. They have said they will make an API so old programs could be ported easy.
