Fleecy explains what normal users can do to make the next AmigaOS a success: Buying products, subscribing to magazines, evangelising to the world, nagging non Amiga developers to get on board, showing off to your friends, forming Amiga clans and kicking non Amiga clan backsides in games, joining and participating in local Amiga User groups, and working in Team Amiga and other internet based groups. (..) We should start some sort of almost evangelical thing - A target of 50,000 registered OS4 users, and all work towards that end. I have to admit that the "evangelical thing" sounds pretty scary to me. :)

In reply to Comment 11 (Ben):
Your arguements have no logic.
Lets start off with your X86 arguement shall we? This goes for all the people out there who said they bought an X86 for the DE. Rubbish. It was just an excuse especially when you say that it is *able* to run the SDK, not that it is. The DE will come out for X86, that hasn't changed it's just that at the same time the current OS will be delveloped in order to merge the two for OS5. Fleecy has stated that (all going well) the DE will be released by christmas.
It's not like you lost out in buying a PC, it isn't useless is it? Infact it is probably far more useful than the amiga systems you currently own.
Holding on to old hardware makes no sense at all. MOVE ON! Yeah you spent more on an A4000. So what? a)the A4000 is a 8 year old system! b)It wasn't made by Amiga Inc. so how do they owe you?
If you are *REALLY* deperate to keep your A4000 wait for the A4000 mediator and the SharkPPC+. Eyetech and bplan are offering brand new systems for either AmigaOS4 or MorphOS, Elbox and DCE are offering PCI based solutions. The future paths are there you just have to stop moaning and decide on which one you want to take.
As for Eyetech "Dropping" the A4000 version, there isn't any point in them developing it in the first place if OS4.2 comes out at the end of the year, there won't be and compatibilty issues, hence no need for either a A1200 or a A4000
As for your stupid A4000 people have more money arguement, if that is the case then it won't kill you to go out and buy an old 2nd Hand A1200 for a tenner will it?
It's the first time in 7 years that an amiga company have had a brand new amiga for you to go out and buy, and all you do is moan.
