New Executive Update at Amiga.com : Comment 16 of 20ANN.lu

Well, after reading everything in the Exec/Tech Update, it sounds real promising. I'm cautiously optimistic (a bit excited even) about the new AmigaOS, and the roadmap for upgrades. I think that all along, we have all wished that there was some way to move our beloved OS forward and now Amiga have promised to do just that. Let's hope things move forward and on time. I'm hoping that other big name companies will now begin to see the new AmigaOS systems as a viable alternative market, and jump into the hardware end. This would give the platform some badly needed credibility, and maybe we would see local vendors carrying Amiga product once again. This is the only way I see to gain NEW Amiga users that don't know what Amiga is all about. It has to be in stores for them to see and tryout, and not just available to existing users.
