hi, it looks like they are trying to fix some minor graphic inconsistencies with amiga.com's web site. Look for example at the javascripted words on the left (i.e. News, executive update, press releases, company, products....) They all look the same now. At last. I hope they are going to fix that ugly red border now. It's a punch in my eye everytime i get on that website and a week later I still have the bright and painful image of those monstrosities burned into my retina...

looks like amiga.com is changing look : Comment 7 of 9 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Brian Huebert on 04-Jun-2001 22:00 GMT | It's a pretty bad looking site I hate to say. It has nothing to do with the red, and everything to do with consistancy and style. The navigation looks cramped... Some sections (like Amiga Mall) have shadows while others like "Amiga One" have a shadow. Also, the sizes of these squares are not consistant, and some have an outline.... The black lines are sloppy, and the general text (content) flows right to the edge of the screen, making it look cramped. If you're going to make the text table width at 100%, make the top bar do the same thing, so the text doesn't just sit out there by itself. |
