AmiSoft, the company who was due to release the first ever USB board for the Amiga, has closed its doors for the last time.
As of Friday 25th May, Amisoft will cease all operations. Although things did look promising a while back, Amisoft can no longer generate a profit it its current state. A costly court battle with another company hit Amisoft hard, couple this with recent poor figures in the Amiga sales market, and you can see that there were a lot of factors which determined our future, whether we liked it or not. Amisoft was in operation from 1989, selling both hardware and software.
For more information and a press release, email buyout@the-computer.co.uk or try www.amisoft.co.uk, but hurry, the site will be down very soon. Goodbye.
