This new release fixes many bugs and adds some frequently requested features like SMTP-AUTH and PGP multipart support. Source code is included! It is both available for 68K and MorphOS.

| Posted by Mousky on 09-Jun-2001 22:00 GMT | Just a warning that YAM 2.3 now defaults to the timezone setting in locale prefs to set, if available.
Two implications:
1. An incorrect Locale timezone setting will lead to some messages being sorted out of order.
2. If you had "Adjust for daylight time" checked in Yam AND ALSO adjusted your Locale timezone setting to DST (ie moving your timezone one to the right), YAM will subtract another hour from the Locale timezone setting. For example, you are in the EDT (eastern daylight time) zone, your timezone will be -0400. With the Adjust feature on in YAM, the timezone will read -0300 in your email header. This is wrong.
If you do adjust your Locale timezone setting for DST, please uncheck the "Adjust..." option in YAM. |
