After a long break, a new version of Smart Filesystem has been released. The homepage points out that "SFS 4.1 is NOT compatible with previous versions of SFS and tools like SFSCheck and SFSSalv!"

SFS4.1 released : Comment 3 of 6 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Varthall on 07-Nov-2001 16:35 GMT | I`m using SFS since last year and I can say that, besides its beta status, it`s
much more solid and faster than FFS, although I use it on a partition where I
just store data like sound samples, mp3`s etc. I wonder if it`s good for
programs and WB partition, I mean if it is compatible with most, if not all
Amiga applications. For example, has the recent software still problems with the
old 2/4 GB limits? Has anyone tried it? |
