KDH Datentechnik announced Subway, the USB controller for the A1200 clockport. Features include:
  • USB specification 1.1 and 2.0 compliant (full and low speed)
  • integrated root hub with 4 ports (self powered)
  • all ports protected against overcurrent and overload
  • power saving 3.3V technology
  • compatible with accelerator boards (030/040/060/PPC)
  • no mechanical problems with A1200 bus boards
  • compatible with tower housings
  • standard A1200 clockport connector
  • high speed clock interface
  • works on fast clockports (if 100% A1200 compatible)
  • available shortly

So there are some sort of USB drivers in the works, but for what kind of hardware? Printers? Scanners? Digital cameras? Mice? Keyboards? Monitors?
Great news that it's finally arrived though :). Almost everything seems to run via USB these days.
