KDH Datentechnik announced Subway, the USB controller for the A1200 clockport. Features include:
- USB specification 1.1 and 2.0 compliant (full and low speed)
- integrated root hub with 4 ports (self powered)
- all ports protected against overcurrent and overload
- power saving 3.3V technology
- compatible with accelerator boards (030/040/060/PPC)
- no mechanical problems with A1200 bus boards
- compatible with tower housings
- standard A1200 clockport connector
- high speed clock interface
- works on fast clockports (if 100% A1200 compatible)
- available shortly

Posted by Christoffer Aronzon on 02-Dec-2001 09:06 GMT | So there are some sort of USB drivers in the works, but for what kind of hardware? Printers? Scanners? Digital cameras? Mice? Keyboards? Monitors?
Great news that it's finally arrived though :). Almost everything seems to run via USB these days.
