KDH Datentechnik announced Subway, the USB controller for the A1200 clockport. Features include:
- USB specification 1.1 and 2.0 compliant (full and low speed)
- integrated root hub with 4 ports (self powered)
- all ports protected against overcurrent and overload
- power saving 3.3V technology
- compatible with accelerator boards (030/040/060/PPC)
- no mechanical problems with A1200 bus boards
- compatible with tower housings
- standard A1200 clockport connector
- high speed clock interface
- works on fast clockports (if 100% A1200 compatible)
- available shortly

Or do you mean that you have a USB keyboard and USB joystick that only plug into a USB port? Well it would wouldn't it - it's USB. It's like having a serial mouse and complaining it only plugs into a serial port, or an AGP graphics card and complainin it won't fit in your Zorro slot.
Parallel Port Webcams have been around for years too. Hell, my daughter has a programable talking Winnie The Pooh that plugs into the printer port. |
