KDH Datentechnik announced Subway, the USB controller for the A1200 clockport. Features include:
- USB specification 1.1 and 2.0 compliant (full and low speed)
- integrated root hub with 4 ports (self powered)
- all ports protected against overcurrent and overload
- power saving 3.3V technology
- compatible with accelerator boards (030/040/060/PPC)
- no mechanical problems with A1200 bus boards
- compatible with tower housings
- standard A1200 clockport connector
- high speed clock interface
- works on fast clockports (if 100% A1200 compatible)
- available shortly

Posted by JW on 30-Nov-2001 22:50 GMT | I think if they actually came out with these hardware adapters in a form that could be used by all the Amiga users out there they might actually have too many sales. They seem to be scared out of their minds that some Amiga users might be able to use USB components on a full Amiga. |
