I am currently toying with the idea of designing a Zorro card for the Amiga. What would the interest be in a card with the following:
10/100 mbit Ethernet, 2 X High speed serial ports, 1 X ECP/EPP parallel port & IrDa?
There is some preliminary information on my website
I am also looking at the possibility of adding a Zorro to ISA bridge and making the card work in Zorro 2 and Zorro 3 Amigas.
Are there any other features you would like?
If you are interested, please email me. If there is enough interest I will look at making some prototypes and if feasible, a short production run.

could you please stop to post your offense nonsense here please.
That what you are stating here (and elsewhere) is nothing more than your personal hope .
Maybe someone should translate your crap you posted on amiga-news.de last time.
You said that the AmigaOS4.0 only for PPC is a dream of us "ultra orthodox"
PPC-Fans (I nerver knew that im one of them) and that parts of Amithlon will find their way to the new OS.
When people ask you about your stats, you piquantly attacked them and tried to conceal behind your so called insider-informations. Later you paddled back with your AOSx86 "facts" with saying that it will only emulate an AOS4 68k version, which is also non-existing.
Its nice that people can emulate a "Classic"-Amiga on x86 with your (mostly Bernies) Linux-hosted Emulator, but it definitely isnt, and it cant be, the future of the AmigaOS. First it not native, only emulated, secondly there arent any native Apps which on the other hand exist since years for ppc-accelerated Amigas and theres no serious developer out there, who will do such a port because of the so often metioned and dicussed reasons.
At the point of speed it quite funny that you try to compare a g3/350 with an Athlon 1200 (without mentioning it) in 68k-emulation and imagine that your solution let ppc look like if they are underpowered. But your actually statment, that your amiga-emulator will even be faster then native ppc-apps really shots the bird down. It seems you really need something like that (and I can guess why).
But lets talk about that in a couple of month again, we will see.. |
