More technical information was available in the What's New box, MPC7455 product on this page. The link is not working righ now. It was available a few minutes before. I guess the are doing changes

Suggested retail pricing for the MPC7445 at 800 MHz is $125 in 10k quantities. Suggested retail pricing for the MPC7455 at 1 GHz is $295 in 10k quantities.
Nice. Especially if you utilise the L3 cache facility on the 1GHz processor, that gives you 4GB/s bandwidth and thus negates the need for DDR main memory.
