Warp3D software render driver : Comment 84 of 158 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Anonymous on 21-Feb-2002 08:51 GMT | In reply to Comment 73 (Bernd Meyer): @Bernie Meyer:
>But it feels like we are getting somewhere... "Bernie, this is a commercial >decision on our part, it's that simple". That's coming damn close to saying "We >don't like your stuff, and we *do* like PPC cards.
No, it means "we want you to pay the Warp3D license just like Elbox, Matay and DCE".
Why is it that only Amithlon authors can cash in?
>So we simply decided to not care about the licensing issues on PPC cards, but >asked a developer to suppress existing and finished software of his that would >work on your stuff, citing licensing issues". Which is a position which, while I >wouldn't like it, I could appreciate. But if that is your position, please come >out and say so. And if it is not, please elaborate on what the "business >decision" was....

@Harald Frank: Do you deny claiming that you wanted to sue Hyperion for false and misleading advertising because some of the features listed in the OS public progress report would be "false"?
Oh and BTW: I suggest you ask the P96 people for a copy of the contract we have with them. I might be revealing to you. |
