"This is a software driver for Warp3D, which enables:
using Warp3D applications, demos and games with PPC Amigas not equipped with a 3D GFx board, or not equiped with a GFx board at all (but requires P96 or CGX) [and] using Warp3D applications, demos and games not compatible with a 3D Gfx board (example : WipeOut and CGx4/Voodoo3)." Which is exactly what I always thought.
Then how does this then reflect on:
(a) licensing Warp3D for Amithlon, since Amithlon is not hardware.
(b) releasing the 68k software renderer, since no one is suggesting bundling that with anything.
Please elaborate, as to the layman this episode looks exactly like what Bernie suggests it is: arbitrary discrimination against Amithlon.
Note: I am not questioning your inalienable right to discriminate against Amithlon, but like Bernie I expect a simple admission saying that is what you are doing. It is this issue you seem to be skirting around when replying to Bernie's questions. |
