"We have a new and very interesting GFX-BASE interview for you: This time we talked to the software-group 'Coyote Flux' responsible for great software like CoyoteSound or the PPC SNES emu SuperAmicon. The guys from Coyote Flux told us new facts about their latest project J Miner, a software, which uses video streams to create a complete corrected two and 3D model of the surface. They also reveal that they have a G3/G4 Amiga-based supercomputer and this is no joke!"

Posted by Allen on 10-Apr-2002 10:40 GMT | I though a supercomputer was defined as any computer able to exceede 1 teraflop...
"IBM is also building an academic supercomputer for the San Diego Supercomputer Center that will operate at 1 teraflop." - Taken from http://search390.techtarget.com/sDefinition/0,,sid10_gci213071,00.html
That is why G4's fitted with AltiVec are considered by some (including the US government) to be SuperComputers they can in certain situations achieve > 1TF.
Although I am sure I'll get flamed for that. :(
