Well, I do not know who you are Mr. Anonymous, but for at least the sections of your post as it pertains to me here are some facts...
1. Thendic-France has retained bplan to do some development work. So far, it is working. They are doing something we have contracted them to do. We are paying them. We are happy. I think they are too. We have been very impressed by their engineering skills. They have been honest and straightforward with us.
2. Power Trading GmbH, owned by Petro Tyschtschenko, is exclusively distributing the Thendic and ComCam products in India. This information is posted on his website and ours. We worked very closely with Petro in 1995 and 1996. I think he will vouch for us and what we tried to do.
3. VisCorp had plenty of difficulties in the fall of 1996. Raquel and I lived through them all. Here is a little insight into what you clearly have no first hand experience talking about -- I stayed in touch with Almathera long after I left VisCorp. The Father of the Father & Son team (I can't remember the names) made a business decision at the end and shut his company down. VisCorp had been a hope to them for the future of Amiga. It was not the reason they decided to close the Company and start something new. I know they were partially paid for what they did. I do not know what the final numbers were. As for Optonica, VisCorp did pay them. I honestly do not remember if there was an outstanding balance when I left. They had financial trouble before they were involved with us and we tried to work with them in the beginning to assist them as we could. When VisCorp was unsuccessful everything fell apart as far as Raquel and I were concerned and as far as a VisCorp future with Amiga was concerned. The Chairman controlled the checkbook.
