As many of us already understood, the G3 based "supercomputer" to which CoyoteFlux referred in their interview was a bPlan Pegasos. They've got some more infos at THENDIC-France.

Thendic France announce worldwide Pegasos reseller program : Comment 55 of 70 | ANN.lu |
Posted by JGen on 13-Apr-2002 09:05 GMT | In reply to Comment 53 (Keith Blakemore-Noble): I'll gladly tell you
The fact is it's way more fun to be rude and abusive, after all
everyone else is. I've spent the last couple of years trying to be
diplomatic, polite and rational on amiga forums, it got me absolutely
no-where so I decided "Hey I'll come on under a different nick and
behave like absolutely everyone else."
The fact is I'm so sick of the Amiga "community" I'm on the verge of
moving on (it's impossible not use an Amiga and not get involved in
these flame wars). It's the same pricks all the time, the same
agendas, no-one can make a sensible comment without slagging X Y or Z.
I mean for god sake there were people *still* dredging up the old
MUI/Classact war just the other day. Same old thing all the time -
"vapor is shite"/"vapor are cool" "Ralph is God"/"Ralph is Satan"
"MOS/AOS4/Amithlon Sucks"
And the "professionals" are definately not any better. It's a
hopeless situation.
Amiga is as good as dead - Stabbed in the back by
Amiga/Bplan/H&P/Hyperion/DCE/Elbox and worst of all the users, who
have been way too busy slaying each other to see what they were doing.
I've waited so long for something like MOS/Pegasos AOS4/AmigaOne, but
the amiga "community" has ruined it for me. Can you blame me for
being a tad angry?
If I'm going to go out, I may as well some things off my chest. |
