As many of us already understood, the G3 based "supercomputer" to which CoyoteFlux referred in their interview was a bPlan Pegasos. They've got some more infos at THENDIC-France.

Thendic France announce worldwide Pegasos reseller program : Comment 69 of 70 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Johan Rönnblom on 14-Apr-2002 14:42 GMT | In reply to Comment 67 (Jgen): Well I don't see the point arguing with you.
But anyway: If I ordered a mouse, and it turned out it was not even
manufactured yet, and the reseller didn't tell me about this - then I
would be seriously pissed. If he told me he was out of stock but would
let me preorder until he got another batch, I might accept, but only
because he told me. If he told me he didn't have it, and no one had
it because it was a new product that had not yet been made, I wouldn't
be too impressed.
Second, if you think making a prototype is the same thing as making a
production series, then you'd better stay out of this business. |
