Say who ? I thought it was already said: We do want to support the Pegasos board. It's firmly planned. Unfortunately, we haven't received a developer board yet, but if we ever get one, OS4 will run on the Pegasos.

AmigaOS 4.0 on Pegasos : Comment 178 of 510 | ANN.lu |
Posted by DaveW on 15-Apr-2002 17:50 GMT | In reply to Comment 172 (Nicolas Sallin): Got you. :-)
Ive worked with operating systems for quite a few years now at the commercial end and I understand intellectually how MorphOS is written. I would suggest that you dont have to read every line of source to grasp the concepts.
I have to admit that aside from the way it was developed ( iteratively replacing parts of another product is a bit of a no no and is indeed bordering on the illegal ) and the source code angle I dont see that it is particularly difficult to write another AOS from scratch using only the API documentation as reference, my only surprise is that it has taken MorphOS team so long to do, they must have day jobs. ;-)
To prove a claim is another thing and Im looking forward to the opening stages of Morphing Amiga by John Grisham.
