Say who ? I thought it was already said: We do want to support the Pegasos board. It's firmly planned. Unfortunately, we haven't received a developer board yet, but if we ever get one, OS4 will run on the Pegasos.

Like i said, i don't know enough about these products to form an opinion
>And i don't know if the first version of MorphOS will require AmigaOS to run, >but AFAIK the MorphOS Team is working hard to make MorphOS totally independant >from AmigaOS to allow users to run MorphOS without AmigaOS.
yes, i've read that already, but my reply was to darklite's question, and was hypotical or however you write that :)
>If the first version still require AmigaOS then the user will have to buy >AmigaOS because it'll not be included (for legal reasons).
That's only logical, however, what if the licence for AOS states that it's prohibited to use parts of the OS in this way? I'm not claiming MOS is ilegal here, i honestly don't know, i'm agruing based on the opinions i've read here from both sides
>And that way, it's perfectly legal (it's simply like UAE that don't come with >AmigaOS (for the same legal reasons) and the user have to buy it).
Again, doesn't this depend on the EULA that comes with the OS?
>As AmigaOS is not included and have to be bought by the end user, and as >MorphOS didn't use any part of the AmigaOS source code and as the developpers >didn't use any reverse engineering technics to make it, MorphOS is a perfectly >legal product.
However, will AOS4 be available as a seperate product? What if the EULA of AOS4 states it's ilegal to use it in that way?
