Say who ? I thought it was already said: We do want to support the Pegasos board. It's firmly planned. Unfortunately, we haven't received a developer board yet, but if we ever get one, OS4 will run on the Pegasos.

AmigaOS 4.0 on Pegasos : Comment 304 of 510 | ANN.lu |
Posted by DaveW on 16-Apr-2002 08:13 GMT | In reply to Comment 301 (Fab1): Yeah ha ha ha ha.
1. Lets see if MorphOS did NOT copy the source of AOS3.x then they HAD to implement libraries
with exactly the same syntax and semantics from scratch. This is a LOT of work and this
is exactly what has been claimed by those supposedly in the know in this thread. If you
say this is wrong then please do the decent thing and back it up with facts rather than
just silly comments.
2. Hyperion hasnt been developing AOS4 for long and they CLAIM its close to beta quality
and not far short of GA.
3. It is CLAIMED by MorphOS "in the know ( self label ) people" that they have been working on it for over 2 years - backed up
by a repost above this is sort of confirmed.
4. It is CLAIMED by MorphOS "in the know ( self label ) people" that after two years they are at a pretty stable OS3.9 level
regardless of extra internal features.
5. It is CLAIMED by Hyperion that AOS4 on release will be backwardly compatible with AOS3.x.
So dont be so dismissive, its inflammatory and a bit juvenile and this kind of response
has what has kept this thread pretty much in the gutter.
