Say who ? I thought it was already said: We do want to support the Pegasos board. It's firmly planned. Unfortunately, we haven't received a developer board yet, but if we ever get one, OS4 will run on the Pegasos.

AmigaOS 4.0 on Pegasos : Comment 315 of 510 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Stefan Burström on 16-Apr-2002 09:26 GMT | In reply to Comment 267 (darklite): > You are making absolutely no sense here. What does the 68k emulator have to do with decompilation?
Read again and think about it. If you write an emulator you need to debug it.
And the most errorprone parts would actually be some of the inner workings of AOS
which is not very clear. And when you debug your emulator you will need to figure
out what AOS is trying to do and thus you are decompiling AOS to make your emulator
work.
Besides, can you state that MOS never has used any patched KS3.1 roms? Sorry, but
I have used MOS and I _know_ that it took the KS3.1 rom and patched certain parts
to make it work properly.
But otoh, we could asume that RS looked into his crystal sphere for the romaddresses
to patch. Or did he by any chance disassemble parts of KS3.1 to figure out what to do?
> Funny that you say I don't know anything about the AmigaOS technology.
Sorry, but I didn't reply to your post, unless you post with 2 aliases. But
if you claim that no one has ever needed to decomiple AOS to create additions.
(Like P96, CGX, MagicLayers) etc. your are far out. Just ask any of the original
AOS developers and you'll know...
regards,
Stefan |
